A barrel fermented chardonnay grown in our original 30 year old Estate vineyard. This block always produces a rich, layered Chardonnay that has plenty of ripe fruit to balance the oak. With a rich and creamy texture, ripe apple and pear are framed with toasty vanilla and lemon custard.
Pasta with lobster and lemon cream sauce, parsnip bisque with toasted pine nuts, sautéed scallops, firm cheeses.

Primary fermentation in barrel with 100% malolactic fermentation in a mix of cooperages to frame the fruit.
Warm vintage for Chardonnay that helped developed the higher fruit notes.
