This blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir is a poster child for these three red Bordeaux/Burgundy grape varieties that do well in Michigan's cool climate. First, you get the Merlot with full-throttle spice and smoke off the oak barrels streaming through the dark plum flavors and blackberries; then the cranberries and herbs of the Cabernet Franc; and the cherries and raspberries of the Pinot Noir.
